Have you ever had a full brekkie with kale?

As part of National Eye Health Week, we have collaborated with one of our neighbours in Preston, Town House Coffee and Brew Bar to find you dishes that not only taste great but are also good for your eye health.

Vegetables such as kale and spinach which are green and leafy are great for eyesight and they also play a part in preventing age-related eye diseases, including cataracts and macular degeneration. the reason for this is that the greens contain cartenoids such as lutein and zeaxanthin, which promote vision and the health of the retina. We talked about this in more detail in our previous blog, if you missed it you can click here to have a read

Townhouse’s vegan fry up includes our favourite vegetable: crispy kale! It also contains roasted pepper sausages, scrambled tofu, wilted spinach, avocado, salsa beans, grilled mushrooms, tomatoes and sourdough toast.

We’re giving all our customers £10% off Townhouse Coffee and Brew Bar. All you have to do is take your Broadhurst receipt into the coffee shop with you and show it to the barrister when you order.

Townhouse customers will also be offered £25 off glasses with us or a free Optomap eye scan. All you have to do is bring in your Townhouse receipt when you order your specs.

Their smashed avocado dish is full of lots of lovely green spinach. We love the attention to detail and how pretty are those finishing flower touches?

How cute is this book swap idea though? We’ve got our eyes on The Fifth Elephant…

What’s really cute about this place is the cosy vibes and interior! You could spend hours and hours here, especially if you’ve got yourself a good book!

And let’s not forget all of the naughty treats too!

Thanks for reading and we hope you liked this post!
