Sunglasses trends 2020

After a long break, we are back with a roundup of the latest sunglasses trends.

I don’t know about you, but there is something about coming out of lockdown which has left a lot of us wanting to reinvent ourselves. Whether it is dying your hair a crazy colour or trying a new exercise regime, this transition period has left us wanting to bring joy back in the small ways we can.

Here is a roundup of the glasses trends we think will do exactly that, providing you with a new lease of life and a kick-ass attitude to go with it.

DITA: The Telemaker

If you want to make a statement, DITA’s crystal cat eye glasses are a modern, yet sophisticated approach to achieving that goal.

The exaggerated angular shaping may be a brave choice but the crystal acetate makes it much more wearable and less heavy on the face.

theo Galaxite:

These sunglasses are truly out of this world. Created in collaboration with the modern artist Tim Van Steenbergen, these minimalist masterpieces evolve with the time and place they are worn. Not only are they radiant and showstopping, but they can also be worn in an understated and elegant way depending on your choice of outfit.

Caroline Abram: Délicieuse

These sweet retro sunnies are made from a pink and peach high-density acetate, making them a hot commodity as the colour peach is currently dominating everything from fashion to interior and even makeup. We can just imagine ourselves wearing these on a hot summers day, holding a nice cool “Délicieuse” glass of peach ice tea, can you?

Silhouette: Titan Accent Shades 8173

Want a lightweight frame that gives a dramatic effect? Look no further than these Silhouette sunglasses. What sets these apart from the rest is the luxurious gold detailing paired with the minimalist negative space, making the lenses look almost heart-shaped <3.

Tom Ford: Quinn

These should be called the go hard or go home glasses because not only are they super striking but they ooze glam and luxury. The major benefit of this style is that it is a classic that will never go out of style and can be worn for decades to come.
